Investment is an important decision for a business that also involves fund management. Investment is the decision of how much to invest, where to invest, and when to invest so that there is maximum gain. Investment also means acquisition of assets in hope that the assets will increase its value over a period of time. To ensure that the company earns maximum profits, it needs to identify the objectives of organization along with its constraints. It needs to consider factors such as time frame, tax implications, and how to avoid risk. There must be hedging strategy in place along with parameters to measure performance.
