There are many reasons for making donations. Whatever the reason may be, the main thing to keep in mind is to donate. There are many people who are in need of these useful things but cannot afford them. If you have an old car which you do not need any more, then instead of selling it, you can opt for car donations. If you have an unused house that is giving you no benefit, just increasing your estate taxes, then you can go for house donations as well. Many people these days are opting for boat donations because they realize that holding boats for longer period is of no use.
